Lân is een samenwerking van Sytze Pruiksma en Herman Zeilstra. Componist, musicus en vogelkenner Sytze Pruiksma kijkt naar het landschap als naar een partituur. Hij luistert naar de natuur zoals hij naar muziek luistert. In het zingen van vogels, het fluiten van de wind en een overtrekkende vlucht ganzen hoort hij melodie en compositie. I.s.m. filmmaker Herman Zeilstra is het beeldmateriaal voor Lân ontstaan. Ritmiek, dynamiek en herhaling in het Friese landschap vormen de uitgangspunten voor deze partituur. Sjoerd Wagenaar heeft de mobiele unit ontworpen, die de toeschouwer zowel de omgeving als de voorstelling laat beleven.

Lân is a co-production of Sytze Pruiksma en Herman Zeilstra. Composer, musician and bird-watcher Sytze Pruiksma views the landscape as a musical score. He listens to nature like he listens to music. In the singing of birds, the whistling of the wind and a flock of migrating geese flying overhead, he recognizes a melody and the idea of a composition. The visual material for Lân was created in co-operation with filmmaker Herman Zeilstra. The musical score is based on the rhythm, dynamics and repetition of the Frisian landscape. Sjoerd Wagenaar designed the mobile theater unit that makes it possible for the audience to experience the landscape and the performance at the same time.
